Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
Aleko is a tennis and padel tracking app for iOS, operated by ABE Entertainment Limited. This policy explains what data Aleko collects, why, and what happens to it. The short version: your data exists to power your own match history and insights, we don't sell it, and you can delete it.
Data you give us
- Account: your email address, used for sign-in (we send a one-time code — no passwords) and essential service messages.
- Athlete profiles: names and optional details of the athletes you track — yourself, your children, or students you coach.
- Match data: scores, opponents' names, venues, tournaments, and any notes you write about matches and opponents.
- Equipment and expenses: gear you catalog and costs you log.
- Voice notes: if you dictate a note, the audio is transcribed to text and the audio is not kept.
How we use it
- To run the app: your history, stats, rivalry records, reminders, and insights.
- AI scouting reports: your own match notes about an opponent are processed by an AI model to generate a scouting report for you. Only the notes needed for the report are sent, and they are not used to train anyone's models.
- Community memory: when you log a match, your opponent's name and the match result become part of your match record. If that person later joins Aleko, they can claim their side of the match. Your notes about opponents are never shown to them — notes are private to you.
- Product analytics: anonymous-by-default usage events (screens viewed, features used) help us improve the app.
Who processes it
Aleko runs on a small set of infrastructure providers acting on our instructions:
- Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
- OpenAI — AI processing for scouting reports and voice transcription.
- Apple & RevenueCat — subscription purchases and entitlements. We never see your payment details.
- PostHog — product analytics.
- Resend — delivery of sign-in code emails.
We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Children and family accounts
Aleko accounts belong to adults. Parents and coaches may create athlete profiles for minors they are responsible for; those profiles are managed entirely by the account holder.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app's profile settings, under Account. We ask you to confirm, and send a code to your email address to make sure it is really you. Deletion is immediate and permanent — it cannot be undone, and we cannot recover the data afterwards.
Deleting your account removes your login and every athlete you are the only owner of, along with all of that athlete's matches, trainings, expenses and bag items. Athletes you share with someone else are treated differently: if another owner remains, or if the athlete belongs to someone who shared it with you, the athlete and its history stay with them and only your access is removed. Matches and trainings involving another person's athlete remain part of their records, with your name no longer attached to them.
Deleting your account does not cancel an Aleko Pro subscription — only Apple can do that. See the Terms of Service for how to cancel. You can also email support@aleko.app to request deletion or a copy of your data.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. Write to support@aleko.app and we will honor them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we will note it in the app and update the date at the top of this page.
